I started this website writing for fun, guess what I wrote about?
Coffee beans. Brewing rituals. Barista life at home.
It wasn’t just content.
It was culture on the page.
But the more I wrote, the more I realized coffee shop owners were being left behind, especially in marketing.
As my writing grew, so did my curiosity.
I started learning how content works.
That’s when I noticed the real problem:
Amazing coffee shops are pouring their heart into every cup…
but no one is teaching them how to get seen.
The advice out there was too broad, too techy, and just not made for small cafés trying to make it work.
So I went all in. I studied SEO, marketing, and how AI can make running a café easier, not harder.
I became a freelance coffee content writer, but not just any writer.

I’m Flor R, the mastermind behind this site.
Some of my earliest memories are the sound of coffee cherries dropping into baskets.
And the sweet smell of coffee being processed in my hometown, Villa Rica, Perú.
I grew up in a small coffee-producing region where families like mine have cultivated coffee for generations.
Our town’s rhythm is dictated by harvest seasons, and coffee isn’t just a crop; it is our connection to the world beyond our mountains.
Villa Rica, Peru, is a small town with a big aroma, where coffee isn’t a trend or a luxury. It’s a birthright.
We grow it, live it, and yes, we start drinking it as kids. That’s just normal where I’m from.
So it makes sense that years later, I’d find myself writing about coffee.
Not because it is trendy.
Because it is in my blood.
☕ One Question Changed Everything
My sister owns a coffee shop back home, “StarCafé”
She runs it with heart and hustle, just like so many café owners I admire.
But her marketing? Like most small business owners… it was pieced together with what she had time for.
One day, she asked me:
“How do I use AI to write better Instagram posts?”
She was doing everything she could, but like many café owners, she was guessing her way through social media.
That was the moment it all came together.
If she’s struggling, so are thousands of others.
Owners. Baristas. Roasters. Small teams doing big things with no marketing support that speaks their language.
So I made a decision:
